* [core] Throttle tiles to redo symbol placement at most once every 300ms.
Fixes issue #8435 and prepares for pitch-scaling changes in issue #8967.
* [core] Disable letter-spacing for Arabic labels (issue #9057)
This adds a `convertJSON` template, to be used like:
Error error
optional<Foo> foo = convertJSON<Foo>(string, error);
Internally, it parses the string with RapidJSON and then calls `convert<Foo>(parsed, error)`.
While here, rationalize GeoJSON converters and fix error handling for Tileset conversion in OfflineDownload.
Combine Style::cascade, recalculate, relayout, and updateTiles into a single method. This allows multiple loops over sources and layers to be consolidated and prepares for additional Style-Map decoupling: rather than tracking pending updates via a set of Update flags held by the Map and passed to the Style, the Style can use its own data to determine what to update.
Moves the following to the renderer directory and out of the style namespace:
* CascadeParameters
* PropertyEvaluationParameters
* UpdateParameters
* PropertyEvaluator
* DataDrivenPropertyEvaluator
* CrossFadedPropertyEvaluator
* PaintPropertyBinder
* PaintProperyStatistics
* PossiblyEvaluatedPropertyValue
* TransitioningLight
* EvaluatedLight
- Expose glyph and icon information to workers via message interface.
- Glyph/SpriteAtlas track which tiles have outstanding requests
and send messages to them when glyphs/icons become available.
- Remove obsolete "updateSymbolDependentTiles" pathway
- Symbol preparation for a tile now depends on all glyphs becoming
available before it can start.
- Start tracking individual icons needed for a tile, although we don't
do anything with the information yet.
- Introduce typedef for GlyphID
This fixes a bug where, for a zoom value greater than that of the highest zoom
stop, composite function interpolation would return nan. (Blocking a render
test over in #8593)
* Add failing tests for composite function edge case
The failing cases here are:
- Should interpolate before the first stop
- Should interpolate past the last stop
* Fix edge case in composite function interpolation
* Hold functions constant outside stop-defined domain
We previously used incremental `file(WRITE ...)` commands that gradually recreated the file on every CMake invocation. This sometimes lead to Xcode parsing a partially written file, which in turn breaks building dependend targets. Instead, we're now using a templated configuration file, which ensure that the file is created in one go and hopefully reduces the race condition between CMake and Xcode's automatic project updating.
Previously, we initialized global variables that held pointers to the extension functions. While this seemed to work, the spec doesn't guarantee that the function pointers are identical for different OpenGL contexts. Therefore, we are now making them a member variable of the Context object.
